I can't afford to pay the full amount, what should I do?

If you are unable to settle the account in full please contact one of our trained advisors to discuss possible repayment options.

What will happen if I don't pay?

Failure to pay will result in an escalation of collection activity which may result in a Debt Collector being instructed to visit you in order to discuss your current circumstances and arrange a suitable repayment programme or your account being referred for legal action.

I don't owe this, what should I do?

If you dispute the debt we need details in writing. Upon receipt of your dispute we will hold your account until the issue has been resolved. Please send full details to the address on the contact us page or via the secure messaging facility. Please provide as much detail as possible in order that we may assist you.

The person you are writing to does not live here

In order that we can update our records and that of our Clients, please mark the envelope 'gone away' and return to us in the post. There is no charge for this. Alternatively contact us by telephone or via the secure messaging facility on the contact us tab and we will update our records immediately.

I can't meet my agreed repayment, what should I do?

Please contact us as soon as you realise you are unable to pay in order that we may review your account. Failure to do so may result in a Debt Collector being instructed to visit you in order to discuss your current circumstances and arrange a suitable repayment programme or your account being referred for legal action.

How is my credit file affected?

You can obtain a copy of your credit file from either;

What charges do you apply to my account?

Credit Security do not apply any charges to your account however our Client may continue to apply charges depending on the type of account. For clarification please contact one of our advisors.

How do I make a complaint?

Despite our best efforts, sometimes things can go wrong. If you feel you have cause for complaint please write with full details to;
